Do you recommend any books that include characters who are in foster care? What about books with diverse characters or themes that empower and inspire readers?

My Dotty Morgan Supernatural Sleuth series has two important supporting characters in foster placements. Dotty's girlfriend is in a relative placement with her adult brother. And one of the bullies from Book 1 winds up living with Dotty's family in later books when he's left without a caretaker. The books aren't about being in foster care though (They're supernatural mysteries). I'd donate copies to the organization if you want them.
